Holiday Survival Guide

Jonathon Novello, LMSW, ACSW, Consultant, Emotional Wellness Program

Ahh, the holidays. It's that time of the year that is supposed to be about spending enjoyable time with family, reflecting on the year that is about to pass, or an opportunity to stop for a moment and rest. But, year after year, many of us find that our holidays lack that holiday feeling. Feeling frustrated at the mall, dealing with expectations of relatives and in-laws, balancing work and holiday prep, and struggling with the on-set of the Michigan Winter Blues, we resort to just trying to "get through" the holidays.

This series will offer new ideas and practical approaches to help you move through this holiday season without feeling so stressed out. Perhaps this is the year you get to experience the true spirit of the season.
