Community Partnerships

Health4U works in partnership with two community-based organizations whose mission and goals focus on promoting the development of healthy lifestyles throughout the mid-Michigan community:

Community Partners in Health (CPH)

The Health4U Program serves as a resource partner to Community Partners in Health (CPH).

The mission of CPH is to motivate residents of the mid-Michigan community to engage in regular physical activity and healthy eating. CPH sponsors a ten week “Winter Warm-Up” Walking Program each year. Health4U supports the efforts of CPH by promoting participation in the Winter Warm-Up Program to MSU faculty, staff, graduate student employees, retirees, and the spouses/partners of members of these groups.

Health4U also supports the CPH mission by providing healthy lifestyle resource expertise to program planning, development and implementation.

Capital Area Health Alliance - Healthy Lifestyles Committee (CAHA-HLC)

The Health4U Program is a member of the Capital Area Health Alliance-Healthy Lifestyles Committee. The mission of CAHA-HLC is to promote healthy behaviors to residents of Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties.

The CAHA-HLC provides a connecting point for representatives from organizations, coalitions, educational/governmental institutions and businesses interested in the promotion of healthy lifestyles to individuals and the community at large.
