Learn to depend on awareness and trust of internal regulators as a guide for what and how much to eat.

You already know how to eat. In fact, you were born knowing how to eat. If nothing has happened to mess with your eating between now and then, you don’t need this class. But maybe a thing or two has happened to your eating since then.

Maybe you dieted for years…or just once and it left a lasting distrust of your body and food.

Maybe you were pressured about your weight and tried to do something about it.

Maybe you tried clean eating, fasting, or cleansing. Or chose to eat a food just because of its superfood status.

Maybe you’ve been told what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat. Or what not to eat, when not to eat, or how not to eat it.

If you feel guilty about your eating or eating has become a chore, it may be worth it to you to come to the orientation session for this class series. The introductory session will fill you in on the background and why this class came about. It will give you the information to decide if the series is right for you.

In the six-week program, you will learn mindfulness techniques to bring awareness to your eating without judgment or criticism. You will discover what kind of eating is just right for you. You will practice positive, joyful eating. A way of eating that will last a lifetime.
