If you prefer learning in-person, Health4U Food and Nutrition courses and classes may be just right for you.

Courses and classes are offered in various locations around campus with topics to hone your food knowledge and preparation skills and to explore strategies to help you and your family eat well. Instructors include our own nutritionist, Peggy Crum, as well as chefs from MSU Residential Dining Services and University Club of MSU. Some classes have a fee if lunch is included.

Offered once per semester, $ensible Meals sessions will feature tips for managing common barriers to having meals. Peggy Crum, Health4U nutritionist, will demonstrate an idea or two for fast, frugal, and flavorful meals.

Each Culinary Cooking and Concepts session offers you the opportunity to experience a fabulous meal served in the elegant and relaxed atmosphere of the University Club.

Learn to depend on awareness and trust of internal regulators as a guide for what and how much to eat.

If you want to increase your culinary competence, join our small audience as Corporate Chef Kurt Kwaitkwoski or one of the neighborhood Executive Chefs teaches us a specific skill, invites our questions, and entices us with a taste or two.

Each month on the date when the Recipe for Health is served in the dining facilities on campus, Chef Kurt will show us how to prepare the recipe.
