Key Lime Tarts
- 3 oz. (about 5) egg yolks
- 2 c. sweetened condensed milk
- Zest of 1 lime
- 6 oz. lime juice
- 1 drop green food coloring
- Tart shells
- Whipped cream
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients until combined. Pour into tart shells and bake for 12 minutes.
Cool and serve with whipped cream.
These “meatballs” have just the right amount of spice. Treat these like traditional meatballs...serve with marinara sauce or pesto on a bed of pasta or make a meatball sub. Or change things up by making the mix into patties for delicious veggie burgers.
