Winter weather in Michigan can be cold and dreary and get you thinking about the warmer and brighter days ahead. If you’re not feeling the cold of the season, it might be time to look for ways to embrace the coziness of winter.

Taking time to enjoy food is one way we can take care of our health and well-being. Join Abby Richey, MSU University Health and Well-being Registered Dietitian in this 40-minute webinar as she helps you understand our need to feel comfort during the winter, the benefits of embracing your food needs, and how you might do it better this year.

Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this program, participants will be able to:

• Describe the health and well-being benefits of food for self-care.

• Assess their personal ways of comforting with food.

• Apply ways to enjoy comfort with food that supports health and well-being.
