MY HEALTH supports you taking a more active role in your own health care. This is achieved by increasing your understanding of medical conditions, screening, testing, and treatments. This is what we mean by “health literacy.”

Through using medical information and self-assessment tools, such as those found in the Health e-Guide, you can better engage in shared decision making with your health care provider. All of the information is presented in easy to understand language containing a minimal amount of medical “lingo,” and is based on high quality evidence based research.

This information is intended to be used in partnership with the your health care provider to maintain wellness, practice prevention and make the best health care decisions for you.
