At this time, Health4U will no longer be offering Emotional Wellness Coaching.  If you are interested in meeting with a mental health counselor instead, please contact the EAP at 517-355-4506 or eap@msu.edu.  If you are interested in other options, feel free to reach out to Health4U at health4u@msu.edu.

Health4U Emotional Wellness coaching is a way for you to work one-on-one with an Emotional Wellness coach to begin to enhance life satisfaction and personal well-being.

The focus of these coaching sessions is to help you move toward your desired goal, such as:

  • Feeling less stressed out
  • Getting motivated and/or organized
  • Increasing your focus
  • Learning more about yourself and others around you
  • Dealing with writer's block
  • Exploring career options

You will work directly with the coach to come up with a strategic, personalized plan to reach your goal.

What to expect from a coaching session

Initial appointment: This 60-minute exploratory session focuses on identifying your goals. You and your coach will explore what types of changes you would like to make and what kind of goals you would like to set. Together, you will find a manageable and ideal place to begin.

Next sessions: The information from the first appointment will then allow you and your coach to begin to appropriately address your identified needs and interests. These sessions will focus on movement toward the identified goals, and finding ways to effectively address any barriers to these goals.

Schedule an Emotional Wellness coaching session by contacting us at Health4U. To schedule an appointment with Health4U you are not required to email us from your MSU email address; please email us from the email address you are most comfortable with.
