Health4U staff have created a list of FAQs about the Health4U services that are currently available to campus during COVID-19.

1.) Is Health4U currently seeing clients?
Yes, the Health4U staff are still seeing clients. Food & Nutrition counseling appointments with Peggy Crum are being offered exclusively via Telehealth video conferencing, which is an encrypted platform that is completely confidential and HIPAA compliant, or via phone call.

2.) How can I go about scheduling an appointment?
Please contact our office at health4u@msu.edu or 517-353-2596. If you call and someone doesn’t answer, please leave a voicemail so that we can get back to you as soon as possible.

3.) What is the preferred way to contact Health4U?
It is likely that you may be able to get in touch with us quicker via email (health4u@msu.edu). However, you can also contact us via phone (517-353-2596).

4.) Are you accepting any walk-in appointments?
No, we are not. In response to Governor Whitmer’s executive order, all Health4U staff are working remotely to continue serving our campus community.

5.) What hours is Health4U open?
Phones and emails are monitored Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Appointments are also available during this time frame.

6.) How do I use Zoom for telehealth video conferencing?
For information regarding Zoom, please visit https://msu.zoom.us. If you need assistance with setting up a Zoom account, please contact the MSU IT Service Desk at 517-432-6200.

7.) How do phone appointments work?
We will provide you with Zoom connection information, regardless if you are wanting a telehealth video appointment, or a phone appointment. Please dial one of the phone numbers listed on the Zoom connection information that is provided to you, and enter the Meeting ID.

8.) I don't have Adobe Professional, how do I fill out the forms?
We recognize that currently everyone has varying resources available to them, so please just do your best to get the forms back to us. Some ideas include: using the Fill & Sign feature in Adobe reader, or Paint. Our staff is currently working to make our forms fillable and are hopeful to be able to share those with new clients in the very near future.

9.) Is Health4U currently offering any classes?
Currently, we are not.  All Health4U classes through Spring Semester 2020 have been cancelled.

10.) Where can I find the most up-to-date information on Health4U offerings?

In the toolbar on the right of this page under Health4U Newsletter, you can select Sign Up to begin receiving our Health4U Newsletter, if you don't already.  You can also like our Health4U Facebook page.

11.) Where can I learn more about COVID-19?
Updates regarding any impacts to university operations are being published at https://msu.edu/coronavirus. Please direct questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 to the COVID-19 MSU Hotline at 888-353-1294.
