October is Sustainability Month - Celebrate with the MSU Sustainability Walk Series
MSU Sustainability and Health4U are teaming up! Get active and learn more about sustainability initiatives at MSU with this weekly walking series. Walks will take place on Thursdays from 12:00p - 12:50p at various locations on campus.
Michigan State University is gearing up for Sustainability Month this October! To celebrate, the Office of Sustainability and Health4U Program are hosting sustainability walks throughout the fall that will showcase the ways in which sustainability is embedded within MSU's campus, curriculum, culture and community. Walks will feature student projects, green buildings, renewable energy, sustainable food and freshwater protection. The kickoff walk will highlight efforts to reduce stormwater runoff and protect the Red Cedar River.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottle and wear comfortable shoes.

Thursday, October 3rd. 'Health and Sustainability' 12:00p - 12:50p. The Rock, MSU North Campus (next to MSU Auditorium)
Thursday, October 10th. 'Greening Athletics' 12:00p - 12:50p. Breslin Center (meet at the Gilbert Pavilion, SE corner of Breslin)
Thursday, October 17th. 'Sustainable Buildings' 12:00p - 12:50p. The Rock
Thursday, October 24th. 'Sustainable Foods' 12:00p - 12:50p. 1855 Place- Patio outside of Sparty's Market
